Formal Food Gardens Designed and Installed

"Louisville's Top Choice for Turnkey Home Gardens"

Formal Food Garden

Imagine walking out into this lovely space for your daily inspiration. Bring in fresh herbs, flowers, and vegetables daily. Latoia grew up around gardens but never managed one of her own. She believes in clean eating and feeding her family fresh produce. This home garden will bring her family bounty and enjoyment for years to come.

Twyla's Potager with Deer Fencing

Twyla was concerned, she had made a big move from California to beautiful Kentucky, and she didn't know how to grow in this new environment. She was an experienced home gardener in California but the new hardiness zone, empty space, and the idea of starting all over again left her dreading this growing season. That's when she invited us in, and we could not be more excited to be a part of this garden creation! We were able to design a 15-bed garden and plant 30 different fruits and vegetables that combine her preferences and Kentucky's climate. Now she is growing everything from cucumbers to the sweet stevia herb. Twyla has everything she needs, including deer fencing, for a successful first growing season in Kentucky and for years to come!

Glenview Fenced Gardens

Wonderfully secured food gardens on a Glenview hilltop. Safely tucked away from deer afront a quaint guest house. Lee and her husband are now enjoying their own produce spring, summer, and fall!

English Style Inspired Gardens

This four bed arrangement was inspired from English Potager Gardens surrounded with boxwoods, lavender, and topiaries. We installed raised beds filled with strawberries, lettuces, herbs, flowers, and other seasonal veggies. There are four 7ft tall obelisk trellises centered in each bed to support her tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and pole beans. The final design is still underway!

Tana's Prospect Garden

This is a glimpse of Tana's garden looking toward the pool house. Looking backwards you will see the two L-shape beds that create a cozy nook separating the field from the pool. A black fence contains this beautifully landscape food garden!

Crescent Hill Carriage House

Another gorgeous garden for a happy home owner! Julie has a Carriage house in the Highlands and needed a potager alongside her natives! This front yard adornment has brought color, texture, and flavor! She will be joining our Private Gardening Club this season!

Full Garden Enclousure

There is a lot of deer pressure in Anchorage, Ky! So much that we needed to secure this potager garden with an 8ft deer fence. The lumber matches the the raised beds and accents the client's home nicely!

Leopold Cedar Benches

A twin set of Eastern Red Cedar Outdoor Benches nestled in a northern Illinois town adjacent this flagstone walkway. Built for American winters.

Upon approval of your estimate, we task our craftspeople to begin construction of your raised beds and I'll we'll provide other elements for you to chose from such as trellising and gravel.

Edible Gardens Inc. takes care of every step of the installation process so you don’t have to worry. Our goal is to bring your landscape from tear out to complete home garden in as little time as possible. For gardens 100 square feet or less, we typically complete an install in one day’s time. Our team carefully clears your space, connects to your irrigation system, installs your raised beds, edging, pathways, and trellising and you walk out to a complete edible garden, ready for tending and harvesting.

Maintenance

Food gardens are dynamic things, with many plants growing from seed to harvest in less than 60 or 90 days. While the magic is incredible, the task to care for your changing garden may sometimes feel overwhelming. Edible Gardens Inc. offers both monthly and quarterly maintenance for our gardens as well as personal Garden Coaching. Our tending team pays attention the details of the garden and does the heavy lifting of replacing compost and replanting each new quarter. We do the heavy lifting and let you enjoy the harvests.
